In February and March of 2022, Seaforth conducted a reconnaissance survey within St. George’s Bay for the purposes of the development of offshore wind. The purpose of the reconnaissance survey was to acquire sufficient geophysical and geotechnical data to support ongoing feasibility studies and to provide information for the planning of future surveys for design, engineering and permitting requirements associated with the installation of offshore wind structures and submarine transmission cables.
