In 2023 Seaforth Acquired a 20′ aluminum survey launch.
The survey launch has been successfully used in a number of small inshore surveys here in Nova Scotia and in New Brunswick, and has also been used as the inshore survey platform for a telecommunications cable route survey in the Hudson Bay.
The survey launch is equipped with a Universal Sonar Mount on the starboard side. Typical sonar payload options would be:
- R2Sonic 2024/2026 MBES
- Edgetech 6205 Bathy/SSS
- Knudsen 3212 3.5 kHz / 50 kHz / 200 kHz SBP
- IxBlue GAPS USBL
