In July of 2019, Seaforth Geosurveys Inc. and Applied Renewables Research Ltd. jointly executed Acoustic Doppler Current Profiler (ADCP) deployments from the M/V Kipawo for a site characterisation survey at the Fundy Ocean Research Centre for Energy (FORCE) tidal demonstration site in the upper Bay of Fundy off the coast of Parrsboro, NS. The ADCPs were then recovered in that September.
