Slope Stabilization Project
In the spring of 2015, Seaforth Geosurveys Inc. was contracted by Irving Oil to conduct a geophysical survey as part of a Slope Stabilization Project within an area of interest at the East Saint John Marine Terminal in Saint John, NB. This two-phase survey included marine seismic reflection and both land and marine seismic refraction, ultimately allowing for the identification and mapping of the nature of all sub-seafloor geological features and also for the determination of the depth from those features to the bedrock layer.
