BRTP Land Based Geotechnical Investigations – Diligent River, NS

In the Fall of 2015, Seaforth Geosurveys Inc. was contracted by Black Rock Tidal Power Inc. (BRTP) to assist in a sampling program for a land-based investigation and analysis using geotechnical borehole core samples and outcropping bedrock in the intertidal zones of the near shore region of Diligent River, adjacent to the Fundy Ocean Research Centre for Energy (FORCE) test site in the upper Bay of Fundy Minas Passage. The borehole locations were known to have similar geologic features to those found at the BRTP Berth site at the FORCE Crown Lease Area tidal demonstration site.
